Youth Advocacy & Policy Engagement
Amplifying youth voices in decisions that shape their future.
What we do
Decisions about young people too often happen without young people. AYLC trains and supports youth advocates who can engage policymakers, write evidence-based policy briefs, lead campaigns and influence the issues that matter — from education to employment, from health to climate.
We host policy dialogues, parliamentary engagement sessions and youth-led town halls that bring decision-makers face to face with the people they serve. We also produce research and briefs that elevate the voices of young Tanzanians in national and regional conversations.
Through partnerships with the Tanzania Youth Council, line ministries and pan-African networks, we make sure youth voices are heard where it counts.
